The question has always been, why people in many parts of the world, specially in Europe get to eat practically anything they want and do not gain weight?! Why do the French get to eat any food they desire, do not concern themselves with cholesterol or fat, and are still among the healthiest people on the planet?
Well, believe it or not, the key reason is in the way they eat, drink, and “exercise.” The reason you see the word exercise in quotation marks is because most Europeans don’t exercise the way we think, they simply walk. Another words, they don’t always go to the grocery store in their cars, they walk. According to many experts walking is one of the best forms of exercise. Whenever you increase your blood circulation steadily for a certain period of time, you are helping your body to get rid of toxins, and burn fat.
My passion in life has always been in the field of gastronomy, and had the fortune to train in this field in France and become familiar with habits of eating and enjoying food in Europe.
If you want to lose weight the natural way, and maintain your weight without bouncing back and forth, then do as the Europeans do.
Stay away from packaged or commercially prepared foods. Buy your own meat, eggs, potatoes, vegetables, etc., and follow the simple recipes available online or in cookbooks to make your own breakfast, lunch and dinner. Convince yourself that not having time to cook is just an illusion. Choose healthy dishes at a restaurant. When you find yourself hurrying, take a step backward and slow down. You can’t get things done efficiently in haste anyways. Enjoy life. Life is beautiful when you give yourself a chance to enjoy it! By the way, when you’re at the grocery store don’t forget to pick up a nice bottle of wine. One glass of especially red wine with an evening meal everyday can do wonders to your health and well being.
Follow these simple guidelines and you’ll see how fast you see that excess fat disappear from your beautiful body, and whatever you do, please stay away from munchies in between meals. Remember no snacks in between meal.
So lets recap: Stay away from all prepackaged or commercially prepared foods, eat naturally at home as much as possible, choose healthy dishes at a restaurant, never eat in between meals, have a glass of red wine with dinner, walk as much as possible, and most importantly, enjoy life.
